Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and experienced Mechanical Engineer II with a strong background in robotics and microtronics to join our dynamic engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for designing and developing advanced robotic systems and microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) for semiconductor manufacturing processes. This role requires a deep understanding of mechanical design, robotics, and microelectronics, combined with hands-on experience in creating and optimizing high-precision components.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Development: Develop and design mechanical components and systems for robotic and microtronic applications in semiconductor manufacturing.
  • Prototyping and Testing: Create prototypes, conduct rigorous testing, and perform analysis to validate design concepts and ensure performance specifications are met.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, software engineers, and product managers, to integrate mechanical designs into comprehensive systems.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and technical reports to document design processes and product development.
  • Optimization: Analyze existing designs and processes to identify areas for improvement, enhancing efficiency, performance, and reliability.
  • Compliance: Ensure all designs and projects comply with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company quality assurance protocols.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from concept to completion, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project goals and budgets.
  • Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in robotics, microtronics, and semiconductor technology to drive continuous innovation within the team.

 

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Microelectronics, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Experience: 1-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on robotics and microtronic systems.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for mechanical design.
    • Knowledge of robotics systems, including kinematics, dynamics, and control systems.
    • Skilled in usage of PDM software.
    • Understanding of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) design and fabrication.
    • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and equipment is a plus.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively.
