Milara’s ESC 200 Series smart robot controllers provide fast, reliable motion control, built-in self-diagnostics and extensive external I/Os to make system integration quick and easy.
Milara’s second generation controllers feature new high efficiency and low-voltage servo drivers allowing even higher precision of each movement. A new generation control system with unlimited number digital and analog inputs and outputs provides easy integration with any type of application.
All ESC 200 Series controllers feature external LEDs that provide a visual indication of controller status. The system utilizes user-friendly macros to create customized high-level commands. The macros allow emulation of competitive robot software and make system integration a snap, helping you get products to market more quickly.
The optional handheld Teach Pendant with Touch Screen and live-man switch provides a simple and convenient method of teaching robot coordinates and includes on-board diagnostic and terminal mode software packages.
Intelligent control for increased throughput
Multitasking control of sophisticated functions minimizes host system interaction to speed throughput. The system can, for example, prealign one wafer while the robot transfers another wafer.
And, when used in conjunction with the unlimited number of digital and analog I/Os, the unit can monitor and control external devices from within the robot macros, thus freeing the host computer to perform other tasks.
“S-Curve” motion profiles provide smooth, fast wafer transfers and increased robot life, while the proprietary time optimized trajectory option increases wafer throughput up to 33% over conventional motion profiles. The ESC-200 provides built-in support for all options, including Flipper, Linear Track, SMIF pods and Wafer Scanner.
Compliant with safety and regulatory standards
The control system is compliant with SEMI standards – SEMI S2, S8, S22, allowing easy integration in any semiconductor FAB. Standard CE, UKCA mark and TUV (IEC/UL 61010-1) certification make regulatory compliance easier.
